CORRECTION: About 125 Nevada County voters have until March 25 to correct signatures for verification of their ballots from the Presidential Primary Election. They will not resubmit corrected ballots.
Final Nevada County election results from the Presidential Primary Election are expected to be officially certified March 27.
The Elections Office began hand counting 1% of ballots today to verify the accuracy of the machine tabulation. In addition, 125 voters have been notified that their ballots are missing their signature or that the signature doesn’t match the one on file. Those voters have until March 25 to resubmit a corrected ballot if they wish to do so.
