Manufactured Housing Opportunity and Revitalization (MORE) Program
The MORE program is now CLOSED to any new applicants. The applications that have been received will be processed first come, first served with priority for applicants that have health and safety code violations in their homes. Applications are currently under review.
Supporting Mobile Homeowners in Nevada County
Nevada County is offering the Manufactured Housing Opportunity & Revitalization (MORE) Program, a program designed to provide one-time grants to income-qualified manufactured and mobile home homeowners for repair or replacement of mobile homes. Funded by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), the program focuses on addressing code violations, substandard conditions, and critical health and safety issues in housing.

Who Is Eligible?
Eligible applicants must be an existing homeowner, must reside in the home, and the home must be located in a mobile home park. Applicant income must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income .
Income Limit for Household of 1: $58,350 Income Limit for Household of 5: $90,050
Income Limit for Household of 2: $66,700 Income Limit for Household of 6: $96,700
Income Limit for Household of 3: $75,050 Income Limit for Household of 7: $103,400
Income Limit for Household of 4: $83,350 Income Limit for Household of 8: $110,050
What Repairs Qualify?
Allowable repairs include eliminating code violations, substandard conditions, and health and health and safety issues. Such repairs would include plumbing, roofing, electrical, and heating. Other allowable repairs may include accessibility upgrades, energy efficiency upgrades., and qualified work per California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 25, Section 1606. Luxury items such as swimming pools and landscaping will not be accommodated under this programs. If the cost to repair a mobile home exceeds $75,000, or if the mobile home is older than 1976, replacement of the home will be considered. Eligible applicants with a notice of violation of health and safety standards will be prioritized first, those with a report from a licensed contractor, engineer, architect, or County inspection staff will be prioritized second, and accessibility and energy upgrades third.
