Idaho-Maryland Mine Board of Supervisor Staff Report
The Nevada County Planning Department prepared the Staff Report and Additional Attachments for the Rise Grass Valley Petition for Vested Rights. The below Staff Report has been prepared for consideration by the Board of Supervisors at their Special Public Meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2023, from 9 am. The Public Hearing may be continued to Friday, February 16, 2024, beginning at 9 am. Members of the public who wish to address the Board of Supervisors should attend the February 15th meeting as there may not be a second day of hearings on February 16th.

How to Participate
Oral Comment
- All community members will be given the opportunity to address the Planning Commission. Each speaker will be given up to three minutes of public comment.
- To provide public comment, grab a number from Planning staff outside the Supervisors’ Chambers. Public comment numbers will be provided on a first come first serve basis beginning at 8:30 am on February 15th.
- Speakers will provide public comment to the Planning Commission in the Supervisors’ Chambers in groups of ten.
Written Comment
- Email to clerkofboard@nevadacountyca.gov. Must be received no later than 5:00 pm on February 14, 2024.
- Mailed to the Nevada County Clerk of the Board at 950 Maidu Ave, Suite 200, Nevada City, CA 95959.
- Submit eComment, available once the Agenda for the meeting is posted (DATE GOES HERE).
- Alternatively, as a last resort, you may submit printed and written copies of your comment directly to the Clerk of the Board at the Board of Supervisors’ Public Hearing.
Public Hearing Details
